There are thousands of types of tropical fish, all of them different shapes, sizes, colours and personalities. This makes them a very attractive choice for a first aquarium. Some species need to be kept on their own, but most people chose to
begin by developing a "community tank" with several different species living together. It is important to remember that tropical fish will need warm water, so your aquarium must include a water heater.
